We are pleased to share a new Fairy Door trail at Holt, made in collaboration with schools in North Norfolk, Norwich Men’s Shed, Norfolk Libraries and Friends of Holt – thanks to support from North Norfolk District Council and Holt Town Council.
This special trail features 12 magical doors placed across Holt designed by children at Holt Primary School, with poems celebrating trees written by children at Fakenham Juniors with writer Ruthie Collins, behind each door. It is being launched in Holt as part of the Jubilee celebrations in June, 2022.
The tree poems were inspired by local trees, tree planting in North Norfolk and come with an invitation to enjoy and connect to the magic of nature and the biodiversity and life that the natural world helps to sustain.
Thank you to all of the children who wrote these biodiversity inspired stories! Click on the numbers to unlock the stories and poem. Why not snuggle up and give them a read when you get home?
