(Archived) 1. Beyond the Antler – by Ilyas Medjahed (aged 6)

It was dusk, Okhpongching was cold and hungry.  He had been resting but he wanted to eat some delicious brown and shiny conkers.  He had a long walk to his favourite horse chestnut tree.  Okhpongching ran across the open fields and found a gap in the hedge.  He was almost there!

Suddenly he hears a rumbling noise and the ground shakes, is it a stampede?

Out of nowhere two lights appeared, brighter than the sun.  Okhpongching jumps three metres in the air over the top of the car but it is not enough.

There was darkness.
