Description of your activity
Celebrate flower and plant power with a Happiness Is Growing party, with herbs, seeds and lots of planting. Visit the herb garden at Norwich Cathedral for inspiration and take home your own herb garden!
What will they need
Please bring a water bottle, sun hat and apply sun cream. Food will be provided.
Who can join
This session is open to children aged 4 to 13 though we do sometimes have older children if families feel they will really benefit particularly with SEND – please do contact us to discuss. Please let us know if your child has any additional requirements so we can ensure we have the correct staffing levels and make adjustments.
What to expect
Inspired by the Natural Wonder poetry collection and our popular trails, the session combines creative fun with wild play and conservation.
Expect magical wild play outside in nature and lots of fun in a small group setting to ensure children can feel safe and make friends. Look for flowers, go on a nature hunt and visit a herb garden. Enjoy creative activities celebrating flower power and fun with friends. Older children aged 11-13 can also gain a nature guide certificate by sharing a talk or creative work inspired by the herb garden to the group!
Each attendee will receive literature, art to take home and a nutritious lunch, so please do let us know of any dietary requirements in advance so we can cater for this – one of the team will be in touch to organise this.
Location
Norwich Cathedral schools room and herb garden.
