Workshop Assistants
We are looking for freelance workshop assistants to work on holiday clubs and other educational and outreach activities with families and children, across Norfolk. Ideally, you will be at least 18, passionate about the natural world, outdoor learning and nature connection for children and families.
Essential
Two references, one professional, and one personal.
Experience working with children, preferably in a community or educational setting
Advanced DBS or be willing to source one
Passion for nature and learning
Love for creativity, biodiversity and wild places
Positive attitude
Desirable
Knowledge of Norfolk’s natural landscape
Interest in conservation and or restorative ecology
Passion for community
Experience with early years and primary school-aged children
Love of literature and reading
Experience leading nature craft activities
Experience in well-being or mindfulness
Own transport
Pay is £15 an hour, subject to availability in holidays. Locations are across Norfolk.
Artist Collaborators
We are also seeking freelance artist collaborators to work with Natural Wonder on a sessional basis, providing 1.5 hour long workshops, or longer, to support holiday club and outreach provision, subject to funding and artists’ availability.
Please get in touch if you have a passion for nature, interest in expanding your practice into literature and creativity, plus experience in participatory, community or socially engaged arts or working in educational settings with children. Pay, would be subject to Artist Union England guidelines or artists’ own rates.

Volunteers
We are also seeking community-minded passionate volunteers to support community use of our pop-up outdoor character trail commissioned by the Broads Authority, accompanying the Natural Wonder poetry series.
